“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”.
Family Mediation

Children and their parents are central in a broader family network. This approach recognizes the importance of family network in supporting children, and their parents achieve best outcomes for the children.
Alternative Dispute – Conflict Resolution Therapy (CRT)
CRT is an approach to treatment that seeks to teach people conflict resolution skills. Although this approach was primarily designed to help couples, it can also be used to address conflict in any situation, whether it arises in a family, between friends or romantic partners, or even within the workplace or any other situation wherein people work or cohabitate together.
Conflict can cause negative emotions to form out of an individual’s natural response system. When conflict is not resolved appropriately, negative emotional states may linger and develop into situations that can have serious long-lasting consequences. Redirecting conflict with the proper skills, however, can help individuals resolve these challenges and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
At FFS, we work from the premise that conflict lies at the heart of emotional distress. This conflict may occur internally, interpersonally, or externally (situation-based), and may be the result of one or more core concerns. Recurring issues often leading to conflict and emotional distress.
